# Third-party notices PulseSDR includes or is derived from the following third-party work. ## Source code ### pl_mpeg: MPEG-1 Audio Layer II decoder (ported to C#) `src/SDRPulse.Core/Dab/Mp2Decoder.cs` is a C# port of the MP2 decoder in pl_mpeg (https://github.com/phoboslab/pl_mpeg), which is itself based on kjmp2 by Martin J. Fiedler. PulseSDR changes: requantisation follows ISO/IEC 11172-3 (levels divided by L instead of L+1), with the output level calibrated accordingly. ``` MIT License Copyright (c) 2019 Dominic Szablewski - https://phoboslab.org Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. They are loaded at run time only and can be replaced with any compatible build. Binaries: BtbN FFmpeg-Builds (win64, lgpl-shared); the exact FFmpeg version is in `codecs\VERSION.txt` (the build shipped now is FFmpeg git commit 9d3f0f2c58: https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/tree/9d3f0f2c58, build scripts: https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds). The complete corresponding source is available from pulsesdr.cc next to the download, and on request from contact@pulsesdr.cc for at least three years. FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard. A user-supplied Fraunhofer FDK AAC library (`libfdk-aac-2.dll` in `%APPDATA%\PulseSDR\codecs`) is used instead when present; it is not distributed with PulseSDR. Protocol knowledge was cross-checked against public documentation and open-source programs (dab-cmdline, slowrx, SatDump, dumpvdl2, multimon-ng, acarsdec, rtl_433, and the osmocom / RTL-SDR Blog librtlsdr tuner driver); no code from those GPL projects is included.
